Each year, ADPi holds two formals, “Violets” and “Black Diamond”. Violets is our winter semi-formal. Last year, we celebrated with a dance and dinner at the River Room, which overlooked the Mississippi River in downtown Cape Girardeau. Our spring formal, Black Diamond, is a great end of the year event with sisters. This year, Black Diamond was held at Rusted Route farms in Jackson, MO.

Mom and Dad’s Day

Our sisters would not be anything without the people who raised them! We love to recognize our moms and dads for making us into the women we are today. For mom’s day this year, we made fall wreaths with our moms. For dad’s day, we celebrated a RedHawk baseball win with our dads.

Socials With Other Organizations

Each semester, we also hold different social events with unique themes. ADPis love to get dressed up in fun costumes! Alpha Delta Pi chapters everywhere celebrate “Mallard Ball,” an event where ADPis and their dates get dressed up in camo. Some other themes that we have had are Galentines (Pink and Red) and Masquerade. We also participate in events like pizza with Lambda Chi Alpha, making gingerbread houses and Christmas cookies with Sigma Nu, barbecuing with Pi Kappa Alpha, “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” watching with other sororities, and more. We love making friends in different organizations on campus!
