Each year, ADPi holds two formals, “Violets” and “Black Diamond.” Violets is our winter semi-formal. Last year, we celebrated with a dance and dinner at the Drury Lodge. The event that everyone looks the most forward to is our spring formal, Black Diamond. This year, Black Diamond was held at Ray’s Plaza Banquet Center in Cape Girardeau.
Each semester, we also hold date parties with fun themes. ADPi’s love to get dressed up in crazy costumes! Past date party themes include “1980’s Sweetheart Dance,” “Cowboys & Indians,” “Sporty Pi’s,” “Dynamic Duos,” and “Mallard Ball.”
Here at ADPi, sisterhood is the most important to us. To celebrate the bonds of sisterhood, we hold several activities each semester, including weekly sisterhood dinners, movie nights in the chapter room, study parties, and much more. Next semester, we are looking forward to Chapter Retreat, pumpkin carving, and a hayride–just to name a few!
